350 SOS

350 SOS is your chance to take part in the International Day of Climate Action. With the aim of 'un-cooking the planet', the event will seek to urge world leaders to take fast and effective action - now!

This is the first ever global campaign organised around a scientific data point - 350 parts per million C02 is the safe upper limit for the atmosphere compared with our distressing current level of 386 and rising.

Held at Mr Tulk, State Library, Saturday 24 October from 2-5 pm, organisers are asking everyone to come down in their beach gear in order to symbolise the rising tides and climbing temperatures our planet is experiencing.

For info, check out www.350.org

It would be great to see you there!
